Baseball America No. 1 Vanderbilt has won 13 of 15 (and all eight series its played in), including Wednesday's 5-3 victory. Great work by Commodores starter John Kilichowski, who struck out eight and picked up the win with six innings of one-run ball.
Meanwhile, Dansby Swanson, a junior shortstop from Georgia's Marietta High School, is having a monster year, leading the Commodores in average, on-base and slugging (.370-.476-.622) and he homered Wednesday.
Swanson isn't alone, though. This team can hit (.313 average, .411 on-base) and Rhett Wiseman and Zander Wiel also went deep in the win over the Terriers.
